kidzdays sets no cookies of its own. No advertising cookies, no “accept all” banner, because there is nothing to accept.

How we count visitors

We do count how many people visit and which pages they read, using Plausible, which we run on our own server rather than sending to anyone else. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and keeps nothing that identifies you: no IP address stored, no profile, no way to follow you here from another site or on to the next one. That is why you are not being asked to agree to anything.

It also counts when someone taps through to a venue’s own page, because knowing whether the listings actually send anyone anywhere is the whole point of keeping them accurate. That count is of the link, not of you.

The one thing we do store on your device

If you close the box asking you to join the weekly email, your browser remembers that so we don’t ask again for a month. Sign up and it never appears again. That is a single yes-or-no note kept in your own browser, holding no identifier and no way to recognise you; nothing about it is sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it, and the only consequence is that we may ask once more.

Third-party content

Some pages show content that streams directly from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies when it loads:

• Google - star ratings, review snippets and photographs on place pages come live from Google Maps.
• TikTok and Instagram- where a place has recent videos, they play inside the platform’s official embedded player.

Those cookies belong to those platforms and are governed by their policies. We choose embeds over copies precisely so creators keep their views and their control.
