Flip Out Preston sits on Fishwick Park off Mercer Street, on the east side of the city. It is the chain's usual mix across 11 attractions: wall-to-wall trampolines, a Kids Arena, slamball basketball, a stunt zone, a soft play with stepping stones and a separate toddler soft play.
A standard jump is from £13, two hours from £18, and Mini Flippers sessions for under 5s from £8. Under 5s bounce with an adult, who needs a ticket too. Everyone wears Flip Out's own grip socks, arrive half an hour early, and sign the waiver online before you leave the house.
Term-time hours are short. In term time it is closed on Mondays and only opens at 12.30pm on weekdays, so it is a weekend or after-school job. In the holidays it opens from 9.30am daily.
What it costs: Standard Jump from £13, 2 Hour Experience from £18, Mini Flippers (under 5s) from £8, autism awareness sessions from £10. Buy one hour get one free on Sundays 10am to 12pm, and Tuesday to Thursday 12pm to 4pm in term time. Flip Out socks are compulsory on the arena.
Know before you go
- Term time it is closed on Mondays and only opens at 12.30pm Tuesday to Friday.
- The Sunday 10am to 12pm buy-one-get-one-free slot doubles the jump for the same money.
- Under 5s need an adult on the trampolines with them, and both need tickets. Arrive 30 minutes early and do the waiver online first.

Two Victorian parks joined at the hip beside the Ribble: a Japanese rock garden, a riverside cafe, a playground sited between the two, and the Easter egg rolling hill. Preston's best free afternoon.
Wild Discovery
The small zoo inside Ribby Hall Village, open to anyone and not just people staying there. Meerkats, otters, wallabies, porcupines and an exotic house, done in an easy couple of hours.
Rascals Play Centre
Preston's big indoor centre at Bamber Bridge, minutes off the M6, with a sports court, a disco room and a quieter SEN session on Tuesday evenings.
