KICKair Manchester

KICKair is a converted unit on Great Ducie Street, just north of Victoria station, and it splits neatly by age. The Action Zone, for 5s and up, is trampolines, inflatable challenges, ninja obstacles and interactive football. Little Kicks is a tiered soft play for under-5s, who can also use the trampolines but not the harder challenges.
An hour of Little Kicks is £12 and an hour in the main zones is £16. The two-hour pass (£18 or £22) is the one most families buy, since the second hour is half price. Grip socks are £3 and compulsory. The free car park is the thing nobody expects this close to the city centre. Just remember to log your registration inside.
What it costs: Little Kicks (ages 1 to under 5, 1 hour) £12. Crossover session (5+ and adults, 1 hour, free movement between zones) £16. 2 Hour Pass £18 for Little Kicks, £22 for Crossover, pitched as 50% off the second hour. KICKair branded grip socks compulsory, £3 a pair. Adults who only supervise do not need a ticket.
Know before you go
- Register your number plate at reception when you arrive or the free car park can land you a fine.
- Fill in the waiver from your booking email before you leave home; every jumper needs one.
- Only KICKair's own grip socks are allowed, so old socks from another park will not get you in.
- Watching parents go free. Only buy an adult ticket if you actually plan to jump.
Worth knowing: Action Zone is 5+.

Shirts, trophies and match footage across six floors, with penalty shootout and skills games that football-mad kids refuse to leave. If yours do not care about football, skip it - it is exactly what it says.
Runway Visitor Park
Watch jets take off close enough to feel them, with Concorde parked by the fence. Free in, pay for parking, and there is a play area and cafe for the wait between planes.
Heaton Park
One of the biggest municipal parks in Europe: a free animal centre, boating lake, adventure playgrounds and an actual vintage tram running on summer days. You will not do all of it in one visit.
Wythenshawe Park & Community Farm
A big south Manchester park with a proper community farm - pigs, goats, horses - a Tudor hall, and enough playground to earn the trip on its own. All free.
