AirVault bills itself as Greater Manchester's first combined inflatable and trampoline park: a trampoline arena, an inflatable zone with slides and an obstacle course, a ninja wall, a jump tower, an air bag, and a newer covered sports court with a football net, basketball hoops and a giant Velcro dartboard. It is on the Wingates Industrial Estate in Westhoughton, a short hop off the M61.
Term time is where the value is. A weekday hour is £9.95, and the toddler morning is £5 per child for three hours, arrive and leave as you please. Weekends and holidays go up to £11.95 an hour, although the early family session is £7.50. Everyone needs AirVault's £2.50 grip socks, and children 13 and under need an adult on site the whole time.
The mezzanine cafe looks straight down over the park, so a non-jumping parent can watch with a coffee instead of hovering at the edge. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
What it costs: Opening times and prices page on 25 Sept 2026. Off-peak (term-time weekdays): 1 hour £9.95, 90 minutes £13.95, 2 hours £14.50. Peak (weekends and school holidays): early family session £7.50, 1 hour £11.95 (£9.95 if booked 48 hours ahead), 90 minutes £14.95, 2 hours £16.95. Toddler morning (ages 1 to 3) in term time £5 per toddler for three hours; the adult price is £3 on the prices page but £5 on the Air Tots page. Grip socks £2.50 each, compulsory, yours to keep. £1 online booking fee. A '90 minutes for £9.99' offer was also showing.
A Halloween disco session at the trampoline and inflatable park, ninety minutes for £9.99 with grip socks extra. Fancy dress optional, long sleeves sensible.
Worth knowing: Under 5s bounce with an adult; under 14s need an adult on site.

Bolton's restored Victorian park: a proper playground with a mini zip line and a sand pit with a toy digger, a cafe with public toilets in sight of it, and the River Croal running through. Free, including the Spa Road car park.
Bolton's biggest recent soft play opening, with a sports court and a gym room alongside the frame. Adults are a pound, which is the number that decides where you go on a wet Tuesday.
An independent at Westhoughton with an outdoor play area as well as the indoor frame, go karts on top, and a baby sensory room for the under ones. Free parking.
