It bills itself as one of the biggest indoor soft plays in the UK, and the scale is the point: more than 30 themed zones, giant slides and ball cannons, a gated baby and toddler area with sensory play, and a role play mini city with a garage, a shop, a vets and a police station.
The pricing splits in two. On term-time weekdays a 3 to 11 year old is £8.50 and you can stay all day. At weekends and in the holidays it becomes a two hour session at £14.50, and adults pay £2.50 or £3.50 to supervise. Book those peak sessions ahead: they say they cannot guarantee entry to anyone without a ticket when it is busy, and that it is quiet before 11am and after 3pm.
It is a long drive for soft play, so make it an event: the beach and the prom are right outside on Kings Parade, which turns a wet-day fallback into a proper day out.

A hands-on science centre built precisely for this age group - walk-through lungs and a supersize brain in the new Bodies gallery, inventions to test, and the ferry stop is literally outside. Entry converts to an annual pass, which changes the maths entirely.
Beach, marine lake and Fort Perch Rock at the river mouth, with the Liverpool skyline across the water. Sandcastles when the tide allows, chips on the front to finish.
