Brimstage Maze is a seasonal maize maze at Brimstage Farm, in the green gap between Heswall and Bebington. In summer 2026 it ran every day from 18 July to 31 August, 10am to 6pm, and the ticket covered all of it: a giant maze, Captain Barnacle's mini maze for smaller ones, a giant volcano slide, pedal karts, corn blasters, barrel tractor rides, zip lines, a climbing wall, splash pools and a giant sandpit.
There is also Maizy's Play Barn, an indoor soft play with scramble nets and chutes, which helps when a Wirral summer does its usual thing. Summer tickets were £14.50 for children aged 3 and over and £13.50 for adults, with under-3s free and parking free. A family of four comes to about £56, which is a proper day out but at least nothing is charged on top.
The autumn version is Grimstage, from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, right across half term. It has a Scarecrow Hollow Maze, Pumpkin Kingdom, Mischief Manor and Trick or Treat Town, with live entertainment and hot food. Tickets went on sale on 1 October, in morning or afternoon sessions. The site did not show Grimstage prices when we looked, so check before you set your heart on it.
What it costs: Summer 2026 day tickets were £14.50 for children aged 3 and over, £13.50 for adults, under-3s free, with all activities and parking included. Grimstage prices were not listed on the site when checked.
Know before you go
- Grimstage runs in two sessions a day, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. You pick the day and session when you book, so choose carefully.
- Face painting at Grimstage is extra, paid on the day, and the site advises booking it ahead.
- In summer one ticket covers everything, with no extras on top, so the day price is the real price.
Seasonal: Summer holidays and October half term. Check before travelling.
