Real snow, all year, at The Snow Centre Manchester (the rebranded Chill Factore): the UK's longest indoor slope for lessons and lift passes, and a Snow Park where younger children sledge, tube and throw snowballs in July.
Gloves are compulsory and they are strict about it. Dress everyone for actual winter - the novelty of being freezing in August wears off quickly for the underdressed.
