Bubbles World of Play
Billed as the UK's biggest soft play. A long drive for soft play, but it's the one that turns a rainy day into an actual event, and the seafront is right there.
Claremont Farm

Adults are £6 and that includes a kilo punnet. Children ten and under are £4 with a half kilo punnet. Nobody weighs you on the way out, nobody sells you a wristband, and there is no booking system to wrestle with. You pay at the gate, you walk into the field, you pick. Claremont sits ten minutes off the M53 and it does that one thing extremely well.
The season is short. June and July, and that is your lot, so for 2026 the picking is done. Inside the season the field still shuts on days when the fruit has not caught up with demand, and they announce that on Facebook and Instagram and not on the website.
There are no animals to feed, no soft play, no tractor ride. A child expecting a farm park will be briefly unimpressed, and then they will find a row of their own and forget about it. It works best in the two to eight bracket, where picking things and putting them in a box is genuinely the entertainment. The rest of the site keeps it going year round: a farm shop, a butchers and a cafe doing hot food until 3pm.
Know before you go
- The field only opens in June and July, and inside that window it shuts on days when there is not enough fruit ready. The only warning is on their social media, so check on the morning.
- The price includes the punnet, so a four year old who eats more than they carry is still covered. Send them down a row with a grown-up and accept the losses.
- Last hot food orders in the cafe are 3pm and last cakes 4.30pm, which catches people out after a late pick.
Worth knowing: No animal pens. This is a picking farm, so the entertainment is the field itself.

A small, friendly Wirral farm park with animal handling most days, a maize maze in late summer, and Thurstaston Common and the beach five minutes away for a two-stop day.
