For when the forecast falls apart in and around Warrington. Everything here is under a roof, or has enough indoor space to be worth the drive anyway.
Starts at 1pm. Times, prices and tickets are on the organiser's own page.
Run by Warrington Disability Partnership and built to be fully accessible: Santa, a present and a puzzle trail for £14 a child, adults £2, with festive crafts on the side. Photos are on sale on the day. The gardens, children's zoo and playground are right there, so it can be the start of a longer afternoon.
Letters to Father Christmas, a bacon or sausage barm, gingerbread biscuit decorating, a story with the man himself and a gift for each child. Every adult needs a ticket too, so a family of four is about £80 for ninety minutes on a Saturday morning, before anyone has looked at a bauble.
Warrington's panto comes after Christmas, which makes it a good cure for the dead days before school goes back. Helen Flanagan and local lad Steven Arnold head the cast. On a 2 adult, 2 child booking the adults pay child prices.
Starts at 7.30pm. Times, prices and tickets are on the organiser's own page.
