This exists because these attractions left the Merlin pass in August 2025. If Blackpool is your default day out - and for a lot of Lancashire and Fylde families it is - this is now the route to repeat visits, not Merlin.

The Blackpool Tower Dungeon
Actor-led horror comedy through a thousand years of grim Lancashire history, with a drop ride at the end. Properly scary in places, so save it for the older ones.
Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Over 75 wax figures across 14 zones, and the Blackpool version leans pop culture rather than politics, so kids actually recognise people. Book online or you pay extra for the privilege of queueing.

The catch
Easy to buy the wrong thing here. A Merlin pass bought today will not get you into the Tower or Madame Tussauds Blackpool.
Would it actually pay for itself?
We are not going to pretend to know. It turns entirely on how often you would really go, and the honest answer for most families is fewer times than they imagine in the shop. Count the trips you genuinely made last year, not the ones you meant to.
Worth saying plainly: more than half the days out on this site cost nothing at all, and no annual pass beats free. Have a look at those first.
