Warrington's council puts on the most generous free summer programme in the region: inflatables in Old Market Square every day of the holidays, a family fun day that moves between the parks each Wednesday, and Time Square filled with rides, face painting and stunt shows every Thursday.
Nothing needs booking and nothing costs a penny beyond the parking. Check which park hosts the Wednesday session before setting off - the rotation is the point.
