Adventure Forest

Round the corner from Inflata Nation on the same Trafford Park estate, and the two are not the same thing at all: this is a proper soft play with a three-tier frame, cargo nets and tunnels, plus a second two-tier frame kept for the tots. The mini quad track and the sports court are what stretch it past the age soft play usually stops working.
The weekday deal is the one to take. Term-time Monday to Thursday is unlimited play at £10.45 a child with adults at £4.75, and the doors are open from 9.15am. At peak you pay more for a fixed two hours, which is the opposite of value but standard for the area.
Little Bears mornings run for preschoolers, and the monthly low-stimulus session is genuinely low stimulus rather than the usual gesture. The cafe does homemade food and is better than it needs to be.
Know before you go
- Weekdays in term time are unlimited play; peak is a strict two hours. The gap between £10.45 and £13.90 buys you less time, not more.
- The first Sunday of every month it closes to the public from 9.15am to 11.15am for autism-friendly and additional needs sessions.

A Georgian house in a deer park where the fallow deer wander right past you. This summer's Play Hub adds giant games and den building in the North Park, and the winter garden is the area's best cold-day walk.
