Two and a half acres of miniature Britain beside Stanley Park: tiny villages, castles, working model railways, gnomes at scandalous liberty. Old-fashioned and immune to irony.
The quiz trail gives small children a mission; the gardens give adults a sit-down. The paths are fully paved with no steps, which makes it an easy one with a buggy. It opens daily from late March to 1 November but closes on Mondays in term time, so check before a Monday visit. An hour of calm between Blackpool's louder engagements.
What it costs: The website lists adults £10.90, children 2 to 15 £8.90, concessions £9.90, family of four £34.90 and family of five £39.90, with carers free, although the price table is still headed '2023 admission prices', so check at the gate. Open 9.30 to 5, last admission 45 minutes before closing.
Seasonal: 28 March to 1 November 2026, closed Mondays in term time. Check before travelling.
