The Jump Works

The Jump Works is Accrington's trampoline park, on Sydney Street. It has over 100 connected trampolines with foam pits, a jousting beam, a dodgeball court, basketball hoops, a climbing wall and a set of obstacle-course pieces including a rolling log and a ninja warrior run.
Pricing is flat: £10.95 for an hour and £14.95 for two, peak or off-peak. Grip socks are extra and can be reused on later visits. Under 5s need to jump with an adult over 18, and in term time there are weekday toddler sessions from 11 to 3 at £5.95 for an adult and child, though older jumpers can share them.
Opening is 11 to 7 Monday to Saturday and 10 to 6 on Sunday. The cafe does hot and cold food with a view over the trampolines, and it takes cash as well as cards.
What it costs: £10.95 for one hour or £14.95 for two, any time. Toddler sessions (term time, Monday to Friday, 11 to 3) £5.95 for one adult and one child, £4 for each extra toddler. Grip socks are compulsory and reusable: the site quotes both £2 at reception and £1.50 added to a booking.
Know before you go
- Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your slot for check-in and the compulsory safety video. Late arrivals eat into the hour.
- No outside food is allowed, so plan snacks around the cafe.
Worth knowing: Under 5s must jump with an adult (over 18).

Blackpool's grand free option: Italian gardens, a big boating lake, one of the best playgrounds on the coast and model boats on the lake. The antidote to a wristband day.
