Jungle World Blackpool

Jungle World is the second site of a Leyland soft play, set inside Hounds Hill shopping centre in the middle of Blackpool. The draw is the slide, which they bill as Blackpool's tallest indoor at 40 metres, plus a multi-level frame with trampolines and a mini zipline, and a separate toddler zone. It is aimed at 0 to 12s.
Socks on for the children, no shoes, and long sleeves are a good idea for the big slide. Outside food is not allowed bar baby food, and the Tiki Cafe does pizzas, paninis and jacket potatoes. Parking is the paid shopping centre car park, which is the trade-off for being in the middle of town.
The annoying bit is price. The Blackpool page does not publish one, so you only see it in the booking flow, and adults need tickets as well. They say most weekends sell out, so book rather than turn up if it is a Saturday.

Know before you go
- Long sleeves for the big slide. The venue itself warns about friction burns.
- No outside food or drink apart from baby food and formula, so plan on the Tiki Cafe.
- Term time it opens at 10am Monday to Friday and closes at 4pm on Sundays, earlier than you might expect.
