The Lyceum is Crewe's main theatre, and its Christmas panto this year is Sleeping Beauty. The more useful thing for parents of small children is the family list, which is longer than you would guess.
Booking now are Dear Zoo Live (29 May 2027, for 1 and over), Dinosaur World Live, Pip and Posy Live, Amazing Animals, Ministry of Science and Horrible Histories Live: Horrible Henrys. These are short, one-day visits, so check dates on the listing and book early for the half terms.

Crewe's grand Victorian park: a big ornamental lake, formal flowerbeds, a lakeside cafe and a playground that covers toddlers to ten-year-olds. Free, and better kept than most parks twice as famous.
Full-size locomotives including the record breaking APT tilting train, miniature railway rides, model layouts and a viewing platform right over the West Coast Main Line. Kids go free for the whole 2026 season.
A family-run play centre in Crewe since 1997, built round a six-storey play frame that the owners reckon is one of the tallest in Europe. Fixed sessions, fair prices, and a separate baby and toddler time in term.
Twenty-five lanes on the Phoenix Leisure Park, with laser tag, escape rooms, an arcade and a small soft play alongside. Go on a Tuesday, when bowling is half price.
The soft play formerly known as GTC, in a converted warehouse near Crewe town centre, with its own car park, open-ended stay and play in term time and £1 adult entry. Closed on term-time Tuesdays.
