Liverpool's adventure options split neatly by weather. Otterspool Adventure on the riverfront is the outdoor one: high ropes, go-karts and enough space that a full afternoon disappears. Gravity MAX at Liverpool ONE is the city-centre rainy-day answer, e-karting and games in the old Debenhams.
The new-ish third is Ninja Warrior UK out at Speke: 35,000 square feet of obstacle courses, inflatables and the warped wall off the television, with a Mini Ninjas soft play so the smallest one is not just watching. Sessions run by the hour and sell out at weekends, and this summer's £35 unlimited pass is the quiet bargain of the school holidays.
