This is the indoor, all-weather end of Manchester, and none of it is a theme park. Treetop Adventure Golf puts two jungle-themed mini golf courses inside the Printworks, which is the easiest sell of the three and the one that works from about four upwards. Depot Climbing in Trafford Park is a serious bouldering gym that runs a proper coached kids' programme, and the sessions are cheap.
The Crystal Maze is the nineties show rebuilt for real, around 75 minutes of it, and it is expensive at roughly forty pounds a head. It is also pitched at nine and up, and a younger child will spend it watching. Save it for a birthday rather than a wet Tuesday.
